On the day

Pre-shoot consultation

Fill out the form to submit an inquiry

Two to three weeks after your session, the images will be ready and uploaded to an online gallery.

Within this gallery you can select, purchase and download your digital images. Prints, wall art and announcements cards can all be ordered straight from gallery shop, and delivered to your door.

A theme and wardrobe consultation gives you the opportunity to really create something unique and authentic to your style.

Every new mother has a different level of comfort and trust, and this is important to establish and enforce.

Most sessions take up to 1 hour, but you can choose a longer session that fits your needs. The session will be either in my Athens studio, or at your proffered location.

Safety and comfort is my first priority, so we will take breaks as needed by mother or child.

We will get in touch with you to answer any questions you may have, and define when is the best time for your specific session.

When is the right time for a maternity and a newborn shooting?

As a general rule, the best time for a maternity/pregnancy photoshoot, is when you have a visible bump. Ideally at the beginning of your third trimester.

It is a good idea to plan ahead, and to consider timing and location.

By the very end of a pregnancy, an expectant mother tends to retain water, sleep less and feel tired, so this is a time to avoid if possible.

Can we involve the siblings or the dad in both the maternity and newborn session?

Absolutely. My images are all about telling your story, and family members are a big part of the story. I love to engage the sibling in the process and make them feel special.

What shall we & the baby wear for the session?

When you book a session with me, I will send you an outfit guide, and all the information you need to prepare for your session. Generally, what I advise is:

Light and neutral, or plain coloured clothing. Colour coordinate your outfits to create harmony in the final image. It is not necessary to all dress in one matching outfit.

Most importantly: You should dress in whatever makes you feel comfortable and good about yourself. Please avoid strong logos and large prints, as they will make the images look dated in the future.

For a maternity session: I warmly encourage my mothers to bring layers.

For a newborn session: The simpler the better, we want to showcase the features of the baby, and too much clothing will distract. A simple white bodysuit goes a long way.
